Another left-wing hate machine bites the dust. When will they ever learn.
I listened to Air America as often as I could, the better to learn what the left has to say. It was not pretty. Generally they made references to conservatives as homosexuals, child predators, and ignoramuses. One would think that even Democrats would quickly tire of such nonsense. These losers first went bankrupt in 2006, but you know liberals. They never learn. But if these are the same folks who are always condeming those evil "profits," why don't they continue operating with losses?

America's largest newspaper publisher, Gannett Company, Incorporated, ticker symbol GCI, publishes USA Today, the Detroit Free Press, and the Honolulu Advertiser, among many other failed liberal newspapers.
GCI has tanked from $62 a share on February 16, 2007 to $4.78 recently.
This 92+% drop reflects the business end of Democrats. If they can't even manage their own businesses, why would you trust them to control your own?
The Tribune Company - Bankrupt
The Tribune Company may be number two, but that doesn't mean it tries harder.
This is because the Tribune Company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on December 8, 2008.
Showing the peccable (opposite of "impeccable") timing that makes Democrats Democrats, Sam Zell and Tribune employees* bought out the shareholders with an offer of $8.2 billion in March 20, 2007. It was approved on August 21, and completed December 20, 2007.

The Tribune Company owns and publishes the Chicago Tribune, from which region the most spendthrift president in American history hails, the Los Angeles Times, and the Baltimore Sun, blue regions one and all. The best available current information is that the Tribune Company is $13 billion in debt. Where is Obama when you need some of that taxpayer bailout money.

Not content with publishing the most egregious lies imaginable from the pens of Lincoln Steffans, and Walter Duranty, the "Gray Lady" went on to ignoble fame for stabbing American troops in the back as they battled terrorists in Iraq. al Qaeda was no doubt enormously encouraged by the New York Times articles, rendered faithfully to al Qaeda month after month.

Calling itself the "third largest newspaper company in the United States," The McClatchy Group publishes the Miami Herald, Fresno Bee, Sacramento Bee, Bellingham Herald, and strangely enough, some newspapers in red states, such as Texas.
But never mind such details. Newspapers take their cues from the New York Times, and whatever the New York City liberals can do, their imitators can do too.
This is what happened to the retirement accounts of those who invested in the left-wing media, MNI.
A 99.38% drop since May 6, 2005. All right, sue me because I cherry-picked the dates stocks were at their highs.
The folks who run the left-wing media fell head-over-heels for fellow socialist, Barack Obama. In the years to come, Obama will take the American economy down the same path that is shown here for GCI, NYT, and NMI. And that is something you can't take to the bank.

LOS ANGELES — Air America Radio, the liberal talk network started two years ago in a bid to counter the influence of conservative radio personalities like Rush Limbaugh, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Friday.
The network and its corporate parent, Piquant LLC, filed after an owner of stations that carried Air America programming took legal action to freeze its bank accounts as part of a dispute over unpaid bills.
Air America, whose broadcast talent includes the comedian Al Franken, has struggled financially since it went on the air in the spring of 2004. According to court papers, the company lost $8.6 million in 2004 and $19.6 million last year, and has lost $13.1 million so far in 2006.
